Sometimes, deciding the timing for your child birthday party and duration of the birthday party can be a difficult decision. Generally, a child birthday party lasts for about 2 to 3 hours. The best time for the party is 12 noon to 3 pm or 3 pm to 6 pm, if meals are provided. However, if you are not serving meal, then 1 pm to 3 pm or 2 pm to 4 pm could be considered. If your party is for the toddler or young kids who nap after lunch, it may be a good idea to have the party at 10am till 12 noon.
